"Next we'll be coming into pigeon pose. We'll be coming into pigeon pose from downward facing dog today. So let's go ahead, sitting back onto our heels, reaching our arms away, rolling toes under, lifting up to downward facing dog. Now let's take our right leg; reaching it behind the body, and then we're going to swing this leg to the front, bending the knee, then slowly scooting ourselves down. And this pose can open the chest and the hips together. For keeping our chest open, another thing we can do here in pigeon pose is slide an extra blanket or yoga mat underneath our hips to provide some support. We can start to walk ourselves down, folding forward, letting go of any tension in our hips, and then slowly walk ourselves back up. To release this let's roll that back toe underneath, lifting up."
