"What about that bicycle in your basement or the bicycle in your garage? It has been hanging up in the rafters for years or you've been moving it every time you try to get to something in your basement, you have got to grab the bike and move it and move it again, always wondering should I take it to the dump or is there some value. Well that's what I'm here for. Take this, it's a classic English bike, it looks very rough. It's dusty, it's got old tape on it, the decals are scratched, the chain guard looks badly rusted. It just looks like a mess and it looks like it could be worthless and it might be. This is the kind of stuff you find at yard sales or in your garage. Even at the dump or in dumpsters you find bikes like this. This bike with about an hour's worth of work and some new tires would probably sell for a commuter's bike for about $125 or $150. It's the kind of thing that is fun to restore and it is a very practical rider."
