Vintage Bicycle Accessories: Trading Cards

"There aren't a lot of companies, and there never were a lot of companies making bicycle trading cards, but we have a few examples of some. And they show some of the mistakes. People have made, and things you have to watch out for when you're looking for vintage bicycles. Over here, it's a really nice looking card, as it's of of a Rollfast bicycle. The year is 1950 it says, and actually, that bike wasn't made till' the mid-50's. Over here, a classic high-wheeler. These are very valuable old bikes. That's a beautiful bike. The printing says 1800. These things weren't made until about 80 years later. And then over here, the classic Schwinn Stingray Crate. Funny thing here is it says 1960. The first one of these was made in 1968, and that's very important, and it brings up an important point about things I see when people are selling things online. I see people advertising parts as for a Crate. A Crate was a classic Schwinn Stingray, very valuable, very expensive. Be careful when you buy things. Make sure you're getting the genuine item."
