Vintage Bicycle Accessories: Other Literature

"If you go to a shop that sells old books and papers a lot of times they'll have general ephemera, and they may have some related to vintage bicycles, and here I've got some examples. This is a poster from the early 70's, or actually, I'm sorry, 1979 it says right on it. It's a Raleigh poster. Those aren't too hard too hard to find. They're not that valuable. These old bicycle journals are great. This this set here is from the 1950's. They've got advertising, they've got terrific bike pictures, they got pedal cars, all kinds of stuff. They have stories about shops opening and closing, here's a nice English bicycle here, all kinds of horns and buzzers, it it's saddlebags for bicycles. There's so much fun, interesting information in these things, and if you can find them it's always worth collecting them. These are the kind of things that I don't usually sell. I just like to keep these for reference, and they're just they're just really fun to look at. Things like this; once in a while you'll find these at a flea market, or an antique shop, but these care care cards, stuff that you generally throw away, you know assembly instructions. I mean, the bike's been built; you want to ride it. People don't usually keep these things, which makes them a little more valuable. Stuff on Sturmey-Archer hubs; basically, any kind of Sturmey Archer stuff, and actually original boxes. If you can find old boxes, even if they're empty they still have value."
