"A lot of people like to collect bicycle advertising. So where do you find it? You can go to an ephemera show, you can go to yard sales, flea markets, etc. These old Schwinn ads, full page, full color, are very sought after. They show the different models, and they show the unique, the brand new Schwinn stingray was a brand new bike when this was first came out. And what's it on? It's on the back of a Boy's Life, May 1964. So if you see the old Boy's Life magazines somewhere, this is from 1967, you're generally going to find some good advertising within these, particularly if you can find a full page back ad. These are great, they're easy to collect, and they're they're still easy to find. Let's talk about sign age, just the flat sign age. These Schwinn signs; I have a ton of these. These came out I believe it was 1995. It was just what Schwinn was advertising at the time. It's an old style logo. It could be looked at as an old sign. People mistake these for old signs, but it's not. Its stamped aluminum, and they are nice looking signs, but they don't have a lot of value. This is about as valuable as this Gary Fisher, which is also stamped aluminum, and that's a very recent, maybe a ten year old sign; barely collectible. Another thing of course is older signs that have the neon in them. This has neon tubes. What's more valuable are the true neon lights."
