on 11/10/2009 Hello, ive been stencling for a couple months now and have just
recently stumbled upon your videos. I must say they are the biggest
source of help on the internet i have yet come across, and there is
very limited out there. So for your efforts to helping learners i
thank you very much.

I am still having a severe problem with my airbrush however, it is a
pretty basic one, the first type u showed in your "choosing Airbrush"
video. I cant find the darn instruction booklet anymore so i cant tell
you what model it is, but its a Badger Syphon Feed.
For some reason my syphon feed is not working! It shoots out air but
when i put either cleaner or paint, it seems to be bubbling within the
feeder and often bubbles out of the safety hole built in the plastic
top.
Can you please help me?!
If you do not understand my problem ill make a video to show you if u
have the time. This would be greatly ...

"My name is Mike. And let's talk about the airbrushes. I'm not going to get too technical on them but there are several different kinds of airbrushes and they're used for different purposes. Most of them are multipurpose but most of all you want to try to get your airbrush specifically for what you plan to do. First off we're going to start with the workhorse of the industry. It's just a basic siphon feed. You use a paint bottle with your paint. It could be any size from 1 ounce to 8 ounces if you feel like carrying a bottle of coke around with you. You use it a lot for t-shirts. It sprays. You get multiple tips you can use for thicker paints, more viscosity. And then this one here is the one I prefer to use the most. This is my gravity feed. This one here is used for a lot of fine art and a lot of automotive stuff. And you can use with acrylics. You can also, well most all airbrushes you can switch from acrylics to automotive and oil based paints. I use it for the motorcycle part that you saw on the first bio video of me. And this is my favorite of all. This one here. Saving this for the cleaning segment but this is called a side feed and this is good for airbrushers that are either right handed or left handed because you could switch the cup from left to right. And this is used more for fine art than anything but I do use it on some of my automotive stuff. I use this mostly if I'm going to be working on canvases or just most of my fine art. Thank you."
