Video Transcript

"Once the game has begun the starting player randomly determined draws their opening hand. The opening hand is of seven cards. The player that one the die roll has the right to choose to go first or go second which has its own advantages. Whichever player will be going first decides whether or not they will keep their opening hand by saying I accept. If they choose not to keep their opening hand they have the option of taking a mulligan. Taking a mulligan means that you shuffle your seven card hand back into your library and draw one fewer. The new starting hand of six cards is then examined. If the new starting hand is acceptable it's kept and the game passes the choice of mullaganing to the next person. Otherwise you continue to mulligan until you arrive at an acceptable starting hand. Every time drawing one fewer card. This can be repeated until there's no starting hand left to choose from."
