The calligrapher who worked with this alphabet were unbelievably inventive with these letter forms. This is the old-fashioned "G", I know you're not going to recognize it but it's kind of a fun thing to do. Unbelievably creative so find yourself a copy of the Book of Kells, you just might be able to do that with your local library. Here's a more modern "G", you can use that one if you want. Look at the "H" please, it come flat at the bottom, flat. Uncial nice rounded right nice and rounded, I'm just going to go this far. Oops, I'm sorry this probably should end up more flat like that o.k. here's our minim stroke. This is the guy that you want to practice first or look at first to understand the character of this hand. It's going to come down like this and then it's going to go flat. There you go, well yeah, there that's more like it. There you go, lovely.
