Now we're going to move on to some of the general points for arthritis, ones that you would follow up after you've done the particular knee points. One of the really good ones especially for muscle pain and stiffness is gall bladder 34 or yang spring tomb. And that's at the front of the knee just below the knee. And your fingers are going to fall into this hollow, this is a good one to hold in a straight up and down hold. It's a fairly easy one to find, there's usually not heavy muscling in this area. And as I said, it's a really good one for muscle stiffness especially in the hind legs. So it's a good one to use for just about any dog that has trouble with its hind legs at all. And again it's good to do both sides, do one side and then the other because quite often there is compensation using the one leg to balance the other and by using points on both legs you actually help them balance the leg strength in those muscles and be able to use them more effectively. So you want to again hold this for one minute, in a straight up and down. This is not a point that you should be doing with a massage. You should be able to find this point fairly easily. If you do massage it would be an up and down.
