"Then you want to finish up. You've already done part of the Bladder Meridian, right in through here. Remember it goes from the top of the head, all the way to the end of the spine. You've done this section. You've done this section, but you want to keep going, and go all the way, the rest of the way down that spine. Again, flat of your hand, fairly good pressure, moving just downward. Don't move, don't massage upward. You want to massage in the direction that meridian moves. If you're just doing steady pressure down the back, don't be afraid to put a fair bit of energy into this. This is a fairly strong meridian. You can follow it up also, by doing the Kidney Meridian, which is on the underside. It matches the same area. Coco is not going to roll over for me for this, but you would do the same area along the belly, and that will give you good massage of the other meridian, which is largely responsible for the bones and the muscles, and for keeping the animal supple. These are two really good ways of finishing up the massage portion, of the work on the shoulders."
