"Now when you're doing acupressure for a specific problem, you start with the points associated with that problem. So when we do this series, we'll start with the acupressure points that are specifically best for hip dysplasia, and from there, then we'll work on through some other general arthritis points, and we'll finish up with a massage of the bladder meridian. You go through this series, again, starting with the the hip points, working through other general acupressure points, and then going on into a general massage before you close your session. When you find that your dog is uncomfortable on working on the hip sect, particular hip points, you can always go back to the general acupressure points. Work those for a session or two, and then go on to work the hip dysplasia points once the animal has had some general acupressure treatment for a few tries. Usually at that point, you'll be able to do those more sensitive points, and get some good results on that, as well. Again, you want to consult with your Veterinarian, make sure that he's aware of what you're doing. Pay attention to your animal's response; only work on the points that he feels comfortable with you working on."
