on 10/26/2008 Nice of you to do this video however nothing in this video showed "How to Milk a Dairy Goat". This doe appears to be a Boer goat (which is a meat breed, not a dairy breed).
For those who may want to know HOW to milk a dairy goat, this doesn't show how. :o)

"One of the most valuable uses for the goats is their milk, and today we're going to show you basically, how a goat gets milked. This girl's feet are hurting, so she's not jumping up into her normal milking stanchion, but I can milk her on the ground, just as easily. Goat milk is famous around the world, and we'll see some of the beautiful things you can do with it. Ok Flossie, you're on. She's not too happy about being milked today. She's got plenty in her. Now it's important each time that we milk, that we strip her out completely. She gave birth to two kids, one of which survived, and so she has a lot of extra milk, which is fortunate for us. We have three orphans that are needing her milk. The milk at the beginning of her lactation, since she just freshened, she just had her baby, it's the richest and the most delicious, and of course, we'll make some really nice cheese. That is, if the ladies didn't drink it all. Ok, she's given us some, and see that beautiful milk there, why don't we go ahead and strain that milk out? Why don't you hand me that bottle, there? Ok, we'll take that beautiful milk, so hold that for me. Even Hippocrates supposedly raved about the health benefits of fresh goat milk. Perfect, and there you have it, cheers."
