"So let's talk about flat brushes for a while. There are all different kinds of flat brushes. They're different because they may be thicker or wider. They're different because they may have a different proportion to the bristle in relation to the height of the letter. They're different because they can be so big or so small. Here's a different proportion, so they're all going to be useful for slightly different things. But let me show you how a couple of these work. A tool like this, I might be using to make a sign. A tool like this has a much more, see how long how long this is? It just gives a little bit more flexibility. And I don't know whether you can see the difference. What I do know, is I can feel the difference. So what happens is you end up with hundreds of brushes, the way I have hundreds of brushes. And as you acquire these, you begin to realize what it is that the particular brush with this particular qualities is going to allow you to do. So basically what you're doing is, you're like adding to your repertoire aren't you?"
