"But here's something that you might not think about at all until you actually start trying to do some calligraphy. Really studying it. And that is that graphic order. Alright. Which I have just shown you. And that graphic order, all of those principles that we discussed. Alright. Or what keeps the alphabet in order. So, underlying the whole idea of alphabetical order for the sake of the dictionary is the alphabetical order, the graphic order for the sake of keeping the alphabet together. And once that alphabetical order is in play, then, what can happen is, you can make thousands if not millions of different designs of the alphabet, and that is the wonder of our alphabet. That it has been, has been sifted down to these totally, totally essential elements or parts, to such an extent that what is left is just the sheer simple beauty of it, and from there, we can go and we can make all matter of fancy, crazy, wonderful, beautiful, alphabets that go this way, and that way. So, let's take a break from lettering now, and let me show you some of the tools that are involved with calligraphing."
