""R" for Roman. The capital "R" is to my mind one of the most wonderful letters; 1, 2, stop here, come back this way, 3, 4. So technically it has 4; 4 strokes to it in our model "R". And as far as the size of this bowl is concerned in terms of where it comes in relation to the geometric center, I'm going to say that you see a lot of variation in the inscriptions that we study. But for this model let's say, that you're going to let that bowl come around and go and join here, a little bit below center. But then what you're going to do is you're going to make sure that this fourth stroke, it more or less comes out of the axis, and comes down this way."
