"So here's our "P", the bowl of the "P", is going to work in the same way, that with the same principle that we worked with the "F" in that, because there's this big space down here, it's helpful to bring the bowl of this "P" around so that it's actually coming a little bit lower than the geometric center line there. But you'll notice that I haven't connected this second stroke; here's the first stroke, 1, and the second stroke comes around. And I haven't actually connected these guys, and you'll see that in a lot of the inscriptions, and we can only theorize about why that might be. But my sense of it is that, when you come around to here, now you're starting to go this way, and as you start to go this way, you can end up tightening up in this part of at the top part of your arm, you can wind up getting too tight in here, and then you can sort of start to end up missing your scale, missing the precision of your stroke. So I'm pretty sure that that's why it happens, not absolutely sure, but anyway, try it that way."
