"Next we are going to go to stomach 36 which is three mile run and this is a good one for general tonification of chi. Again as we said before these dogs generally have weak chi and what we need to do is actually strengthen that so what we are going to do is we are going to use this point on the back leg just below the knee and your finger will fall into this point and as you can see you can do it with a dog laying down. If you are learning it for the first time it is sometimes easiest to find the point where the dog is standing and once you've found it if the dog prefers to lie down or if you have a dog who is unable to stand, you can get a good feel for where the point is lying down. Just go ahead and massage that area if you are not sure. Again it is going to increase the chi, strengthen the chi or the basic life force and energy in the dog and this will help them a lot to cope with the pain and discomfort and stiffness that they are going to feel because of the back pain."
