"Hello. My name is Jeff Fiffie. Today I'll be showing you how to remove and replace a water pump on a Mazda 626. Okay now we're ready to replace our new pump on it. Lower it down nice and easy. You'll notice I have the bolt in my hand already. Nice and easy. We don't want to rip the gasket. Taking a look at it. We have it in place. Hold it with your left hand and with your right hand. Now we're ready to replace our new water pump. Lower our water pump nice and slowly making sure we do not rip the gasket. Line it up with the hoes. In my right hand I already have the bolt in it. Now we take that bolt and slip it in to the hole and to the housing. We don't want to use any impact wrenches on this because this will cause to spread our hole and strip out our hole and you'll be in for a little extra work. Okay grab you another bolt. Put it in your next hole holding firmly the water pump. Okay now that we have it started you want to go through the same steps but in a reverse manner. A good way to tighten up our bolts on our water pump is to cross tighten. So we want to tighten this one then tighten one on the bottom, one on the top then one on the bottom. Hand tightening is the best way to tighten it. Using an impact wrench or a ratchet may break the bolt or warp the pump. And that is how we remove and replace a water pump on a Mazda 626. Warp the pump."
