"O.k., we're moving right along. We have the hopping hook kick, o.k. it’s a little more advanced then the stepping, only difference being we're adding a hop instead of just stepping. O.k., same positioning, you have that horse stance, hands are up. You’re going to step in. We're starting with the same step, knee up to the side, hook it. O.k., that's our stepping version of it. Now we're adding that little hop, so you're basically replacing the front leg with your back leg. O.k. so as you lift that front leg up, the right leg's got to be right back there to support it. O.k., that's our hopping hook kick. One more time. The foot work should be exactly the same. Just add the hop. O.k., that was on the ball of the foot. If you really want to do damage, add a heel in to it. O.k., so you do the same hop and you kick with the heel, o.k. One more time, heel kick. hop, heel kick. O.k., come right back in to your stance. You always want to come back in to the same stance you finished only because you don't know if you're finished. If you were fighting, let's say a street fight, somebody attacked you, you don't know. So always keep your guard up until you know for sure you're done. So we just finished with a hopping hook kick. We're moving on to the more advanced version of that kick which is a spinning hook kick."
