"The most advanced one out of our side kicks is the flying side kick. Now it's no longer a lead leg kick, it becomes a back leg kick, and we're adding a jump to it. So slow, you're going to take a step with the front leg, and you're turning at the same time. Turn, add a little hop to it, and kick. So you see how the back leg kicks. That's why it's the advanced version. Again you want to take that front leg, you're taking a step toward your target. You're starting by putting it sideways a little bit so you don't have to pivot so far. Add the little jump off of the front leg, and dig that back leg into the bag. One more time, a little slower. Take the step, turn the foot, back leg is ready to go it's coming from the back side. What you have to do is make sure that butt goes around, that's one of the hardest things to do when you first start out doing this kick. So as you turn, you're needed to turn that butt. You cannot stop here and try to do a kick, you're going to hurt your hip flexor. So one more time a little bit slower. Take that step, I'm going to just do a little bit of a hop, you see how my hip turns. Heel still digs into the back, but my butt's still got to be turned. So I'm going to speed it up a little bit right here. Take that foot, push that bag, one more time. Watch that front foot because that's the most important one, right here, it has to turn. Push that heel into the bag. Our next kick is going to be a stepping hook kick."
