"O.k. Once you have that done, you're ready to get your fabric back out. And you're going to want to wash and dry it. So it's shrinks to whatever it's going to shrink to. If you're going to attach it to something that you're not going to be washing. It's not really highly important whether or not you wash and dry them. But you definitely want to iron them before you start. And so that's what I'm going to do here. Make sure you have your iron set to whatever your fabric can handle. And if you find that you can't iron your fabric. Then you got to go back and find a different one. Because it's not going to work for your applique. And you'll know if can't iron it. If you start ironing it and it's starts melting. Then you know that's a bad sign. This is actually going to be the background. And once you have them ironed, then you're ready to go on the next step."
