"Working the integrity of the rotator cuffs is very important for shoulder integrity. And simply with the free weight, we're going to work two external by rotating out. Five pounds might be a little bit heavy to start out with. Two to three pounds cause you're really just working with your stabilizers here into the shoulder. It's not like we're building muscle right here, we're really working the integrity of the shoulders so working with stabilizers. So we come out here to the point where we've got a nice line of the wrist, elbow and shoulder and then we release back into neutral. Now to get the, activate the other two rotator cuffs, hence you have four, contract and then release back to neutral. So this way for external, into neutral and in towards the mid line of the body and back to neutral for internal. Start out with ten to fifteen reps, one to three sets is really going to fatigue you quick, you'd be surprised at how quick that small set of stabilizers will fatigue."
