"Okay, let's say now putting is very important. It's a very important part of your scoring on the golf course. If you don't putt very well, it doesn't matter how well you hit the ball as far as your score goes. If you putt real well, it can really take an average game and put it to that next level. So a lot of people are like, "well, I don't have access to a country club" or "the driving range is too far away" or so on and so forth, but you can putt at home. Now this is just kind of like a well cut yard. You don't have to have a, you just set like a cup up or something and you just, you just putt because you need to develop the feel. So you don't have to be putting on a perfect putting green to develop a good putting stroke. Or you can go to the sporting goods store and buy one of those astro turf mats and putt on that. Or get a nice thin carpet, like an indoor/outdoor carpet and putt on that. But really the key to getting good is the more reps. They don't have to be perfect reps because I've worked at country clubs, I've worked at public facilities, and just because you were, just because you might be a rich person and you have the most beautiful practice facility, if you don't use it, it doesn't matter. So it's the people that get as many reps as they can, whether they're at a range, at a course or at their own house, is what's going to put them over the top. So a lot of the top pros were people from modest backgrounds. They just practiced a lot. They couldn't stop practicing. They're chipping at home; they're putting at home every moment they get. So just take advantage of any surface you have to work on the stroke because that's really the most important thing. It's not what you're putting on; it's you developing the putting stroke."
