"Have you ever forgotten a close relative's name and been embarrassed? So, can cartoon expressions also convey embarrassed ness, I think that's a word. So, next we're going to tackle, basically, how somebody can have, let's say a relatively awkward moment pass, and how you capture that in your drawing. Alright, start with our basic eye shapes, one more time here. And, you're going to notice right away, we’re going to do something different with the tops of the eyelid shapes. They're going to be downward, as if somebody's sad. And, you're also going to have the tops of the eye shapes do something similar. Drawing our pupil’s normal, and also our nose, will be, also likewise normally drawn. We're going to draw in a slight smile, with some minor squiggles about it. There's something uncertain and tentative, about drawing in a smile this way. Draw in one wrinkle on the side. We're also going to draw in some darker spots in here, which signify blushing. Ears are drawn in, again if you want, you can even extend the blush under the ears; bring in our hair over the top. OK, and then bring in, down on the side of the jaws. Now other ways, there are other ways you can signify embarrassment with some lines around our drawing. You can draw in a couple of tears for anxiety, and also draw in, not squiggle lines like when you're shivering or afraid, but more emotional lines. As if you're nervous, you're kind of fidgeting back and forth, that's what these lines, two lines parallel lines, right near each other, not too long, can signify exactly how embarrassed you are. Another thing we can do is add in a couple of little shrugging shoulders, as if, uh, oops, sorry about that. That's an excellent expression and this exaggerates and emphasis our embarrassed look."
