"Moving onto the next punch; uppercut. Now this punch is a little different because it comes from underneath up towards the jaw o.k. So we're going to use our legs quite a bit here; hands are up, you're still starting in that staggered stance; keep your eyes focused on your opponent, now as you step in you got to come from underneath so you have to bend your legs. Now from here the hip's still got to rotate; now what you don't want to do is when you hit let that hand bend, you see how that can break your wrist or the opposite way where you bend it too much forward; you have to keep that wrist straight for a straight hit. So you come from underneath and you hit it with the first two knuckles; again look at my wrist, it's straight it cannot bend either way you're going to hurt it o.k. So as you step in you have to bend your knees; come from underneath and hit straight up, the other hand stays by your jaw to protect it o.k. So one more time; step in underneath, straight hip and come back to original position. We're going to move on and show you the technique in slow motion on a target. So we're going to do this uppercut slow motion and we're going to use our target right here to make sure we're demonstrating this technique right; again hands up, elbows in; we're going to step in, come from underneath and we're aiming right for that chin right up o.k.; it moves the head straight up for a knock out. One more time; take that step in towards your opponent so you want to move your feet a little bit, right from here rotate that hip and generate power; hit with the first two knuckles straight up toward that target. Make sure those hip turns; without that it's just the arm swinging and chance are you're going to really hurt that shoulder. So one more time; step in, underneath and come back; we're going to do this punch full speed. So I want to make sure you're nice and solid; keep that wrist nice and tight, also make a nice tight fist, don't let that hand loosen up o.k. you're going to hurt it. So from here you're going to come from underneath nice and quick with a step; nice and quick hit, and move back. O.k. one more time; take that step in underneath nice and quick, make sure you come back and always keep your hands by your face. O.k. that was our uppercut; we're going to move onto hook."
