Hello, I'm Anthony Baron Kirk. I'm a health and exercise therapist. So the next knee dysfunction we'll talk about is caused by the inner thigh musculature. In the very upper portion of the inner thigh we have what's called the Adductor Magnus. It's a very large portion of the Adductor Complex. Tight Adductor Complex, I like to call this over tight or hyper active, will pull the knee joint. Actually pulling the whole leg toward the inside. Single Leg Squaw Patterns, Squaw Patterns, Lunging, Running. It's this force, this movement towards the inside that will pull the Patellae Tendon from tracking correctly over the Sacentella. This of course is going to eventually lead to lots of knee pain on the inside of the knee and just basically what we refer to as a repetitive or over use injury. When the knee is not tracking correctly, over time it will gain, it will actually produce some pain type reception in the knee. Some wear and tear through the knee joint. Overall just break down of the tissues.
