Video Transcript

"In mountain posture, we virtually start every standing posture in mountain posture by placing your heels together, toes apart. And then take your hands right together, interlace your fingers and take the pointer finger and connect them together. And then lift those fingers right up. Now, in mountain posture, you want to soften your knees. When you soften the knees, it takes the pressure off the lower back. You want to lengthen the elbows, so those fingers go up straight and tall. So, soft knees and straight arms. Now breathe in deep through your nose and exhale. From the waist down, you want to feel the energy in your body. The weight in your body, from the hip all the way down to the feet to the Earth. And from the waist up, you want to feel the energy, the weight in your body, straight up through those fingers to the heavens. In mountain posture, we connect the mind and the body between heaven and earth. Bring in deep through your nose. And exhale, reaching a little bit taller with those hands. Softening those knees, another deep breath in. And exhale another deep breath in. And then exhale and release those hands right down. Release the shoulders. Release the hips and shake it right off."
