Video Transcript

"In a standing posture for forward bend, standing posture, you start off with a mountain posture, where the heels are together, toes are apart. You want to have a firm grip right into the floor or the mat. And take your hands together and lift those arms right up. In mountain posture you want to connect, from the hand to the hip. But then, as you reach up taller and taller, feel that back expand, take a deep breath into your nose. Now, keeping your abdominal muscle engaged, and the leg straight, exhale, come right down. And if you come right down, you want to take those fingertips right towards the floor, lifting up with your hips. And then you want to inhale, come all the way back up tall, and reach for those hands up tall. And then you want to exhale, release right down. And then you want to inhale, reach right up tall, ears right between the arms, stretching up as high as those fingers will reach. Exhale, down, lifting your hips right up, and the back of the leg goes long. Inhale, lift right up, and exhale, release right down. Great for the back, great for the hamstrings. Inhaling coming up, and this time here, just exhale, bring the hands right down to the center and release that, shake it right off."
