"In this series we'll do a couple of inverted postures, but also standing postures. Both of those are sometimes a little more challenge, I can show you adaptations, how to hold them, how to get into them. But in any case, with yoga you're connecting the mind with the body with the breath, which helps you with each one of the postures, whether you're sitting, standing, or lying down. So when you take a deep breath into your nose, you always want to feel the belly rise, and when you exhale through your nose you want to feel the belly release. It means you're connecting throughout the whole body with the breath which pumps oxygen throughout the whole body which is healthy for the organs and for the whole body itself. So again, take a deep breath in through your nose, feel the belly rise, and the exhale. And with the standing posture, sometimes you find it a little bit easier if you stand next to a wall, a wall that is, or anything that is sturdy. Knowing that if you did tip, you'd touch that wall. It gives you a sense of security and helps you hold that postures just a little bit longer."
