Juggling Three Clubs Flat

"In this video I'm going to be talking about juggling with flats. Now if you remember, we already learned single and double throws when we were talking about three club juggling. A flat is exactly what you think it would be. It's a throw without any spin at all. Now these are a little bit hard to execute at first. What you're really going to do is push the club up from the center and pull your wrist up with it. So you really want to dampen all that motion from your arm, the natural spin your arm gives the club. You want to dampen all that. Have the club fly straight up and straight back down just like this. Now this will take some practice, you need to just sit there and try and throw a flat. And then what you really want to need to work or what you really need to work on is switching between flats and singles. If you're in a normal pattern and you want to switch into singles, oh I'm sorry, from singles into flats, you really just need to slow the spin down like that. Now this switch is annoying at first. It's very awkward, the throws are hard to make pretty. It's hard to keep it going; you'll get some collisions at first. But really all I can say about this is keep practicing it working on cleaning it up. And then you can throw it into your normal pattern every once in a while and really make a big visual impact without a whole lot of work. If you're going from doubles into flats for example, it's a pretty big visual change but not really as hard as you might think it would be. Those are three club flats."
