"In this clip I will show you how to make a univalve shell. This is a design by Kunihiko Kasahara in his book, "Origami Omnibus." This shell starts out with half a sheet of a square. So it's the rectangular half of a square. With the color side down we are going to fold one of the points down into a triangle. Now we are going to make some marking creases, we are going to fold this edge down to the bottom edge. We don't need to crease the whole thing, just a marking crease in the center. And then fold it the top edge to that mark that we just made. Once again we're not going to crease the entire thing, just some marking edge. And finally we are going to fold the top edge to that crease, and fold the entire flap down. Now this edge we are going to fold down to the bottom edge, like this. Now at this point, this is where we are going to fold the unit in half, at the point of this diagonal, at the bottom point of this diagonal here. Fold the unit in half, unfold, and then fold this raw edge up to meet the crease that we just made. I'm sorry, the other way. The folded edge down to the crease that we just made."
