"In this series we're going to talk about a very common and frustrating problem for both pet owners and veterinarians and that is lower urinary tract disease and urinary obstruction in cats. So, I will review the symptoms and signs with you and discuss some possible treatments that your veterinary professional may recommend, including dietary care and I will also show you how to collect a urine sample. In addition to that we will talk about weight loss, heart disease, and we'll spend some time on common poisons around the home which can be very dangerous to your cat, including antifreeze, rat poison, and some common plant poisonings that you may have around your house. The next portion of the series will be educational for you to illustrate how to administer different types of medication at home. So we'll talk about giving pills to your cat, about liquid administration through a dropper, and also about giving injections to your cat."
