Video Transcript

"In this segment we're going to continue with the idea of moving step push hands. So, what's very important here is although we have a connection here and we want to be listening we mostly want to be listening to what's happening in the other person's foot, because if I only listen here he can step through. So, he can step through, but he can leave this here. So, he could fool me here and go ahead and I'm in trouble, but I'm listening here, all this didn't move. I'm in trouble, so step back again. So, the idea is I don't care, really, what's happening here that's just my connection so I can listen to his feet. So, I'm listening really to his feet so when he's ready to step through that's what I'm listening through. Then I move from my source. So, we move from the source, from the foot and we listen to the other person's foot. So, as I move with my source then he can also move with his source. But, again we also have to have movement in the waist. So, if he steps through, but I don't move my waist then I'm in trouble. Right? So, I have to always be moving, moving from my source listening to the other person's source, guiding with my waist and understand that all the guidance in his body is also from his waist."
