"What we'll look at in this segment is using a face plate to mount the bowl. This is probably by far the easiest method to use. Face plate just being a circular plate with a number of holes in it. What you want to do on your screw side is to mount it in, and here I'm just using a regular sheet metal screw, is you want to have a screw size that's approximately the size of the hole. And in this case, I've got about a quarter of an inch. If you're dealing with something like a piece of wet wood, you want to have a longer length for it to grab. You take the opening, center it over your marks, and in this case I happen to have an impact driver but any type of a drill or a screwdriver will work. And you need at least four mounting points in the wood. If you happen to have a face plate with more holes, use the largest set of holes that you can for the blank. It just gives it a lot more strength."
