"In this sequence, we are going to be working on the Lotus Sweep Kick, which shows up at very end sequence in the Yang Style Long Form. It comes from the Cross Palm Strike the Throat. Now, what we want to do here is we want to let both hands come up and turn to the corner. A common error here is to turn too far. We let both hands come up. Turn to the corner. Sinking into the leg. Now, we keep the hands at that corner, but I shift my weight and turn my waist. So that my waist, my hips are facing in this direction. My arms are here. It is kind of like, it always reminds me of Heisman Trophy type of a thing. Then, I want to bring my knee up in this direction. So, the hands are here. The knee is here. So, I came around. I shift. Bring the knee up. And then, what you are going to do is extend the leg out. As the leg comes across, the hands are going to meet the leg and turn to the corner. So, the full posture of this looks like this. And, you want to, if you can, kick your hand. But, you do not want to bring your hands to your leg. You just want to let them meet in the middle. So you are here. See how they met in the middle. Right there is where we want them to meet, as opposed to way over here. If you can only kick low, totally appropriate."
