"At this point you want to go in and sand the bottom of the bowl. I will start with 120 grit. If you find that you have a lot of rough areas or a rough shape start with the coarsest grit that will get you to the finish that you are looking for. What you have is a number of lines in and what your objective is is to try to sand those lines out. Bring the two back and forth, don't wrap the paper around your fingers because if it happens to catch in it will take your hand around. Just go to the lower portion. If you are rotating in this direction you want the sand paper to be below where you are working. Once you get a satisfactory finish with the 120 grit then go to a 220 to get a final smoothing on the inside."
