"At this point what we'll show you is the finish cut with the bowl gouge. You start in similar to a roughing cut to get yourself started, then rotate the tool almost perpendicular so that you are cutting with this edge and you are pushing the tool in, up a little bit and then down. Try to pay particular attention with a light touch going in towards the center. Again you are coming around rotating it almost perpendicular and then pushing it all the way through. One of the things you want to do is try to do is try to keep the tool in closer to your body. This will give you a little bit more support."
