Video Transcript

"Keeping the curve in your lower back and using a blanket or a block as necessary, take the soles of your feet together in Baddha Konasana. When the soles of the feet together, we want to manually inner spiral the thighs to create a deeper opening in the hip. So again one hand to the inner thigh, one hand to the outer hip, you turn internally and widen. Then fingertips outside the hips, root your tail bone down and lift and lengthen your spine to open the heart out more. In this pose, another way to go a little bit deeper is to lift your heels up off the floor, but as the heels lift up, turn your right thighs downward toward the earth. And finally, if you do have a curve in your lower back, it's fine to fold forward. As you fold forward, you can take the fingertips out in front and soften in your heart. And then inhale to lift back up."
