"Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana, revolved head to knee pose. So we're going to present ourself into Janu Sirsasana with the length in your spine, grounding the heel, lengthening from the inner groin to the big toe. It's an inhale to lift, and it's an exhale to fold from your sternum, keeping the length in your back. And then we're going to inhale your right hand to the outside of your left foot, and just gently begin to revolve the spine. Keep lengthening, keep releasing the shoulders; breathing deeply into your twisted pose. The breath is going to be able to allow the muscles to relax. The longer that you maintain the pose is when you're going to be able to utilize a deeper twist in your spine. The first moments of your pose are not the end product. It's the longer you maintain, the more you'll be able to revolve the spine; performing this pose on both sides."
