In this clip I want to discuss how important it is to contract release in certain movements. With the contract release it's right here in your abdomen, release contract. Not all movements, but a lot of movements from Guinea it makes the move look more expansive, makes it look more expressive. Whatever African dance that you are working with, you want to consult with them to make sure that's okay. With certain movements like this, contract release is good.
