"Now, we're going to turn the cone shape into a cylinder and we do that by a little bit more pressure with your left hand pushing up as you go up the form. Your right hand is still pushing in but not as forcefully. So, essentially, what we're going to do is get the wheel going and, again, just bringing that out into a true cylinder shape. We start at the bottom, left hand pushing out, right hand pushing in not as forcefully. Go to the middle then go up to the top of the piece and we're going to do this in several stages. We don't want to move the clay faster than it can handle. Start at the bottom, go to the middle, equal pressure, with your left hand pushing out a little bit more. And we're going to do that one more time to extend that cylinder. Left hand pushing out a little bit more. Right hand supporting."
