"We are going to continue wetting the top of the clay and having the water go down on the inside and the outside equally and then holding our sponge in our thumb and we are going to continue equal pressure with our fingertips together and bringing it up into a cone shape. I am using a little bit more pressure with my right hand pushing in and visualizing a shaft right in the middle here and I'm actually pulling towards that imaginary shaft, get the wheel going, smooth out the top, and then reaching in on the bottom, equal pressure, bringing that up into a cone shape. If you are using equal pressure, the throwing ridges should be equally spaced and equal depth on the inside and outside of the form. It is important to smooth out the top, round off the top to increase stability and when you leave the piece just take your hands away slowly."
