"Working at the three o'clock position of the plate apply water to the top edge having it run down both sides equally and with your left hand at the edge of the lip and your right fingers on the outside you are going to just bring that lip out a little bit further and again equal pressure with your left fingers and your right fingers pushing in, you want to repeat that process again, pulling that lip out on an angle. With the wooden rib you can go back and smooth out the top edge of the lip and with the sponge you can remove excess water from the form."
