"Now I'm going to show you how to use Logic's vocal transformer, which is another type of auto tuning plug in, except it's a little bit different. It gives you more of a robot style, or allows you to make a whole line the same note. So what we're going to listen to is a note that's going to be an F sharp. It's going to be the second F sharp, it's going to keep that note the same place. As you can see if you pull down the mix, you're going to get a mixture of the dry signal with the robotized voice. But you don't have to have it be a robot either, you can take that off, and then it's going to become pitches. So if you want to do octaves, you can go down to negative twelve and it's going to give you a low octave. Or vice versa, you can do a high octave, and it will give you the upper octave. So therefore, it's easy to use this plug in, in the sense of creating harmonies that work together with the original file, or takes over the original file. It's all about creating whatever sounds you want those vocals to sound like. And this transformer is being used a lot in new electronic music to make vocal sound more robotic in auto tunes."
