"In this series, I'm going to be teaching you Logic's auto-tune. Logic comes with a specific plug-in, or a couple of plug-ins, that allow you to change the pitch, time and different settings of a vocal track. So you can have, you could fix notes if somebody sings flat or too sharp, you can make them sound right in tune with the beat that you have. As well as there are very many reasons why you would want to use auto-tuning. You could do it to create harmonies, you could do it for background vocals, you could tune instruments. Just to make sure that everything is in the same key, everything is tuned together and sounds all as one as a part of the whole song. So if you have vocals or anything that's not in tune, it's really going to take away from your track, people are not going to want to listen to it. And you know in today's age, auto-tuning is getting a lot more popular. Now Logic's auto-tune is very basic, it's automatic, there's not a lot of customization that can be done. But you can still work with it to create a good sound that is becoming more and more popular in today's society."
