"In this clip I'm going to show you the different format views Pro Tools gives to your material, and how to change the view, so that you can see what parameters you want to see. So I have my session set up already, it shows me bars and beats, so therefore I'll probably be in grid mode. But bars and beats is going to show up here in the main, as well as my transport, which is this little thing right now. And now underneath it it shows the sub-parameter which I want to view which is time. 'Cause I, a lot of times you need to know how long your song is depending on what you're working on. You can change either of these by clicking on the small arrow next to it, you can make time your main, you can make samples your main, if you're doing, really close, specific requirements. Now there's other ways you can add and take away this top of the session here, which shows your minutes, seconds, bars, beats, samples, etcetera. So say I'm not using samples, I can get rid of that. It'll make it a little smaller, more efficient, easier to look at, and these are just some of the things that you can change for your parameters in the editing window."
