"In this clip I'm going to show you some of the different menus that deal with the hardware settings and your input and output settings. So first of all you want to go to the top tool bar and go to your setup menu pull down. There you'll find hardware menu, playback engine, disc allocation, peripherals, input and output, video sync offset as well as other preferences. To start off we're going to check out the hardware preferences. I'm using a digidesign m-box as well as a digidesign 003 so I have two different options of what I want to be my main audio processor unit. Right now I'm using the m-box. So I set that to what it is. It's on analog. That's what I want. If you have any internal clock issues or if you're using an ADA interface like this Octopree LE that goes with ADA into my 003 you will need to change the clock source here from internal optical to get rid of a click. Other things in this setup menu are the playback engine which is going to show you your buffer size, your real time audio sweep processing capability as well as your CPU's usage. This is very good for dealing with the computer being too slow or stopping on you. This is definitely the menu you want to go into to fix those problems."
