"Okay, once you have your material all cut down into pieces, what you're going to want to do is decide on a couple of sizes of squares. I've found the easiest way to get a nice template or square is by using a piece of paper, just like in school they used to make us do and you're going to have to have probably several types of squares. If you did a lot of pants you'll probably have a lot of pieces of strips and I actually have a, I'll show you a sample of that, what you can use those strips for once we get to the other quilt that I'm going to put together to actually show you how to piece together. That one's just a little too big, cut em' down. That's about the size I need. And you can pin it and cut around it or you can trace and cut around it. A lot of times I think pinning's faster, and then you don't have to worry about anything bleeding on the material. Okay, whenever you're doing a square it's always best to just do the four corners and that way the material doesn't shift underneath while you're cutting. Make sure it's good and flat, and you just want to cut around there. Now the size of these squares will be smaller once you've sewn them, because you have to allow for the seams. And this is one of the trickier ones because it's super stretchy and check it's still pulled right and get my last side. And it'll end up like that."
