"In this segment, I’m going to show you how to loop the audio that you’re working with or the sequenced audio you’re working with. The easiest and quickest way to loop—basically first of all you need to make sure that it’s within, you know, within a bar, two bars, you know, it’s an even number of bars so that when you loop it, it’s always going to stay the same. So therefore I have a two bar loop—easiest way on the top right corner of the region will bring you a loop icon that you just pull right. Therefore you can loop it as far as you want or as little as you want. Another way to do it is to do copy and paste. If you do Apple C and then you’ll have to line up your toggle switch bar or your play bar so it pastes right where you want it to be. And the third way to do it, is option click and drag to wherever you want the next file to be. And you can just do a little together and leave spaces and that way it makes it easy to edit individual parts of the loop rather than having one main loop that you can’t really edit as well. Now you can—sometimes you can cut in a loop and it will give you two different regions instead of just an extended loop. These are all different ways of looping within logic and it’s all personal preference and hopefully that makes beat making a little bit easier."
