"So there are lots of different grooming tools out there and they all have a purpose depending on what your horse is like. Some horses have thin skin and they want only very light grooming or soft brushes used on them. Or a very gentle curry comb, other horses really like a lot of pressure, a lot of really hard scrubbing and currying which is going to help bring blood flow to their body, to increase the circulation to the surface of their skin. And you need to know which is which. You need to know your horse again and know what your horse prefers and what your horse prefers that you not do and take it from there. There are different tools for everything that you want to do with your horse, including nice little brushes that you can use on your horse's face. Things that you can use in this groove between the horse's cheek bones. Things that are going to feel really good on their belly or on the chest area. Things that they are going to like on their back but that they're not but that they're not going to like on other areas. So again pay attention to your horse and let them tell you what they like."
